Making gold:
Making gold isn't easy, and beginner quests will only reward short amounts of copper. Thats when mining comes in. It's
the easiest profession, and dosen't take long. Dublah, a Gnome Warlock, will teach you the arts of making gold by mining.
Start off with copper ore, and seeing your a gnome, you will have the ability to sense minerals. Go to the spellbook
and select: "Search for minerals", it will find ores and will show them as yellow dots on the minimap. Round up 20 copper
ores from copper veins and go to blacksmith place in the village, smelt the ores in to copper bars.
Do this again, and round up another 20, then go to the blacksmith in the village and smelt them into copper bars. Once
you've done that, go to the nearest city.
Ok, your in the city, lets say your in Stormwind, now its time to turn them copper bars into money. Go to the auction
house, if in stormwind, the auction house in to the left of Weller's Arsenal in the trade district, beside the small cart.
Don't put the copper bars in the auction house just yet, right click on the auctioneer and it'll bring up a menu. You
will also see a search bar, type in Copper and click on search, find the cheapest price going, now to put yours in for a little
less.
On the bottom of the menu click on "Auctions" and set your 20 copper bars in the auction house for around 20 silver less
than the cheapest price going. If the cheapest price is 1 gold, make yours around 50 silver, or 70 silver.
Now place your other 20 copper bars in the auction house with the same price as your other 20 copper bars. In a few minutes
or seconds, someone will come along and buy your sale.
Engineers and blacksmiths always buy these things to create items, so
you'll always get a buyer, if not, try again until someone buys.
Keep reading the chat menu until it says: "Your auction for <item> sold", then go to the nearest mailbox to recieve
your cash. Or just look for the mail icon which is to the right of your minimap.
Is There Things To Be Avoided?
Yes, theres alot of things to be avoided when making gold by mining, first of all avoid beggars, they will usually ask
you for gold or high amounts of silver if you are a high level character. Either ignore them, or say your broke.
The second thing is giving your tips away. Don't say things like "I made 2 gold by selling copper bars!" because then
other people will do the same and put their copper bars in for 2 gold, leaving you to put yours in for a very low price.
The third is scammers, i made 14 gold in a day of playing, and got in-game mail saying that they give away free
guides for 5 gold, I reported the message as spam, and deleted it, simple as that. They take your 5 gold, and will run off,
its just a level 1 trying to trick you into giving money, and he probably does it to 50 random players until he gets about
300 gold.
And fourth is competitors, you will rarely get these, but they will see your sale and sell their copper bars for
alot lesser price, but you will hardly ever come across one.

Making Gold:
Mining isn't the only way on making gold, theres also linen cloth, which many players use to make bandages. If you think
you cant find linen anywhere, learn from the master.
At level 6, being a gnome, head to the city of ironforge and take the deeprun tram to Stormwind city, the deeprun tram
is located at tinker town in ironforge, at Tinkertown, just go through the portal and you'll get to the deeprun tram station.
You've reached stormwind! Go through the portal to reach the city. Run through the city until you reach the valley of
heroes, its also the exit/entrance. Head to any of these areas covered on the this map provided by thottbot: http://www.thottbot.com/c40/z12/b
Once there, kill the creatures called "Kobold Miners", they usually drop linen cloth, kill the ones outside the cave
to avoid aggro. Collect about 20 linen cloth, and an extra 20 if you want, and place them on the auction house for the cheapest
price, around 10-15 silver. It's not a large amount of cash, but it can get you started.
How can I try this?
I tried my tips out on a brand new human warrior, sending him the 20 copper bars via in-game mail. I quickly ran to the
Auction House with the brand new character and put up the copper bars for around 60 silver. In about 6 minutes time, they
sold and by atleast 20 minutes I had a brand new character with over 2 gold in his hands.
You can also try this, i guarantee %80 that you will be rich in 10-20 minutes. You can send this money to your other
main character, or you can start a new one earning money. Sometimes it will take alot of time, so I would set the auction
expiring time to 24 hours.
